Dr. Daniel P. Thomas D.M.D.

Dr. Thomas was born in Skowhegan, Maine, and spent most of his childhood in northeastern Pennsylvania. The youngest of seven children and the son of a dentist, he developed a passion for dental care early in life.

He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology, Cum Laude, from Shippensburg University in 2000, and his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD), Magna Cum Laude, from Temple University School of Dentistry in 2004, where he was elected to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Dental Society.

Dr. Thomas is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Pennsylvania Dental Association (PDA), the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), and the Pennsylvania Academy of General Dentistry (PAGD). Since 2012, he has traveled every other year to Guatemala City with his church to provide dental care to underserved communities living near the city’s garbage dump. While there, he sets up a free dental clinic to provide essential dental services to people who otherwise have little or no access to care.

In 2007, Dr. Thomas purchased the dental practice of Dr. Louis Perrone and Dr. Leonard Perrone, who had served the Royersford community for nearly 40 years. In 2014, he relocated the practice from the corner of 5th and Main Street to its current, renovated historic location at 701 Main Street, continuing the Perrone legacy of quality dental care and exceptional service.

Dr. Thomas lives in Limerick with his wife, Carrie, and their four children: Danny, Erin, Leah, and Norah. When he’s not coaching or cheering on his kids in sports, he enjoys golfing, reading, and following all things Penn State football.
